Applications for the NMSU
Taylor Scholarship and the research grant will be accepted
September 1 through March 31. Applications for the National
History Day Scholarship must be received no later than May 30.
Awards will be made by the DACHS Scholarship Committee. All
decisions are final. Recipients will be notified within 45 days of
submission. Please read the descriptions of the scholarships and
grant offered and their specific requirements before you develop
your proposal.
General Proposal Requirements:
Proposals must be no longer than 1,200 words. They should include
information regarding the following: 1) research objectives, 2)
approach for collecting data and doing an analysis, 3) expected
outcome of the research, 4) plans for sharing the information
publicly, 5) a projected time line and deadline for completion of
the project, 6) a budget that details projected expenses, 7) any
other items specifically requested in the grant or scholarship
description.
