The Dona Ana County Historical Society announces grants for Scholarships and Research

RESEARCH GRANT
The Dona Ana County Historical Society (DACHS) exists to promote the study of the area's history and preserve its physical historic resources. To facilitate these goals, the DACHS provides grant funding for preservation of significant historic resources, historical research, public presentations of historical information (exhibits or events), and publications concerning our regional history. Most grants will not exceed $500. All are welcome to apply. Applications will be accepted September 1 through March 31.
All funded projects must result in a written final report to DACHS (not to exceed 1000 words) and a public presentation (i.e. article for the DACHS's Southern New Mexico Historical Review, a lecture, or an exhibit). The public presentation must include sponsorship credit to DACHS. For information and an application go to the Research Grant Application Form page or contact Susan Krueger skrueger575@msn.com
